The elves have been busy at my house decking the halls (and when I say elves, I mean me, haha), and I’ve got another space in my home all decorated for Christmas. I’ve teamed up with a great group of bloggers for the “Welcome Home for Christmas” blog tour hosted by Leigh at The Little by Little Home. Links to all of the other home tours are at the bottom of this post.
Today I’m sharing Sadie’s cozy and classic Christmas bedroom (sources are linked below).
This year I was inspired to use classic Christmas reds, greens and plaids throughout most of my home, and I carried that theme into Sadie’s bedroom as well. You can see the rest of my Christmas home tour here.
This past summer, I gave her bedroom a refresh, creating a neutral base on which I can add a seasonal change of color. I just love how the pops of red make her bedroom feel so bright and cheery for Christmas.
I hung a pretty pine and red berry garland on the window over her bed, and a boxwood wreath with a simple red ribbon on the other window.
I used classic red and green plaids on her bed. The bed is a vintage piece that I found at the Goodwill several years ago. I recently decided to paint it (you can read about that here), and I love it even more now.
On one side of her bed, I added a simple and unadorned faux tree, my favorite wood reindeer, and a few ornaments to the fillable glass lamp.
I placed a few gifts wrapped in pretty tartan plaid paper on the other side of her bed. And of course, I left some milk and cookies for those busy elves!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed seeing Sadie’s cozy and classic Christmas bedroom. Be sure to visit the other tours linked below.
Merry Christmas!
Susan

Draga Susan,
Mi-a placut foarte mult dormitorul. Mi-a creat un sentiment frumos de sarbatori, o atmosfera asevarata de Craciun.
Ador decorul cu oglinda si noptiera.
Calde imbratisari, Mia

Merry Christmas! I have to say, I don’t decorate with red, but I would not change anything in this beautiful room! If I could create something this lovely I would do it in a heart beat! 🥰
